Molly Cooper received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in 2000, and her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2004. Since 2009, her practice has concentrated primarily on family law. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Prior to her transition to family law, Molly was a prosecutor for over four years in the Prince George's County State’s Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State’s Attorney, she prosecuted felony criminal cases involving narcotics, domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Handling a large case load and dozens of jury trials honed her trial advocacy and negotiation skills.

Ms. Cooper is an active member of the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Women’s Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
